A respected community leader and Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor, on Special Duties, Dr Chukwuma O. Nwaonicha, has expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for his mercies and faithfulness, stating that 2020 is a very challenging year but, the Almighty God in His infinite mercy has been keeping His children safe and fine.
Nwaonicha stated this last Sunday, November 15 during the St James’ Anglican Church, Agbor, Diocese of Ika (Anglican Communion) 2020 harvest thanksgiving.
Nwaonicha who was the chairman of this year’s harvest committee of the church in his brief speech said that every member of the church has every reason to say a big thank you to the Almighty God for the grace to witness the 2020 harvest thanksgiving of St James’ Anglican Church, Agbor.
His words, “I’m honoured and grateful to God and the Anglican Church for the opportunity given to me to be the chairman of the 2020 harvest committee of our church. 2020 is a very challenging and turbulent year but, the Almighty God in his infinite mercy, has kept us alive safe and fine to be part of this year’s harvest thanksgiving. Therefore, we all should continue to put our trust in God for He is always there for us.
I thank the leadership and members of the Anglican Communion for the great work it is doing to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
While congratulating the Vicar, Ven. Charles Omo Okunbor and members of St James’ Anglican Church, Agbor for the success of the 2020 harvest thanksgiving, Nwaonicha thanked all persons who made it a success.
