A 34- year- old blind man, Mr. Chukwudi Emuebie, has appealed to well meaning and concerned Nigerians to come to his aide, saying that he needs money to start a cement business in his family compound at Owa-Ekei.
Emuebie, a native of Owa-Ekei,Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State said he became blind on April 16, 2009 and that every effort made to address the challenge was not successful. He disclosed that before the experience, he was undergoing apprenticeship training on vulcanizing work. Unfortunately, he had no choice but to abandon the training and accept his fate.
He said that he has since 2009 been living on the assistance of members of his church, family and friends.
His words, “My mother died long ago. She had only two children, me and my brother. It has not been easy where it not for supports from friends, church and family members. They have tried and it’s very difficult to continue to depend on them, hence, I’m begging for money to enable me start a cement business in an empty space in my family compound at Owa-Ekei. With the business I will be able to fend for myself and also think of marriage. God will bless anyone who will pity my condition and render financial assistance to me.”
