The eldest son of late Hon John Amufa, Mr. Emmanuel Amufa, has described his late father as a fearless politician, man of integrity and community leader who fought a good fight for his party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and humanity in general.

Emma Amufa stated this during the week in Boji-Boji, Owa while speaking on the fifth anniversary of his father’s demise.

According to Emma Amufa, “It’s exactly five years, November 20, 2015 since my late father, Hon John Amufa transited to the great beyond. My late father believed in unity, hard work and commitment. As his children, he advised us to remain in PDP after his death, whether good or bad”.

He said, ” five years without a loving and caring father was difficult, but, I give God the glory on how I was able to carry-on the duties of the family as the eldest son. It has not been easy, but with God all things are possible while we pray to the Almighty God to continue to bless the soul of our late father, we promise to his legacies of love, peace and unity alive till we meet to part no more”.

Hon John Amufa was an educationist, a strong politician and revered community leader. He died on November 20, 2015 at the age of 77years.He is missed by his children, friends, relatives and PDP. He was a chieftain of PDP in Delta State before his demise.
