A talented, intelligent, beautiful young girl, Destiny Ogana who hails from Igbodo community in Ika North local government area of Delta state is making waves in the music world.
The gospel artiste who attends Chistel Montessori Int’l school, Port Harcourt currently stays with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Chuks Ogana in Igbodo.
In an interview with Ika Mirror Newspaper at No.3 Abude street on Wednesday, July 15,2020, Mrs. Joy Ogana, Destiny’s mother stated that she and her daughter go from street to street to sell her daughter’s album.
She said that Destiny was 6 months old when a messenger of God told her that her daughter was a gifted child.
According to her, Destiny sometimes while she sleeps, gets inspiration from her dream and that her dream comes to pass.
Also, when she prays for people, they always testify of her prayers.
However, she disclosed that due to their background, little or no support is coming as her daughter always say she wants to sing and no money to take her to the studio.
“Although, many actors have been coming to take her away but she refused them, even when we to the football tournament in Agbor, her CD plate refuse to play”, she said.
Also, Destiny always partakes in every activity both in school and in church.
In 2017,when her first album was released where she did a song on the Igbodo road construction done by his Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and other road projects in Delta state.
Since then, she has released many songs but no money to release another album apart from the second album that we managed to struggle.
The primary four pupil, Destiny Ogana advised other children of her age with God’s given talent to always showcase their talents and never to hide it but rather they should pray and works towards their dream.
On her part, Mrs Joy Ogana appealed to the government to come to their aid by supporting her daughter in growing her music career as she only sings when she is on a long holiday, as she wants her daughter’s talent to grow.
Also, she advised mothers to always pray for their children and encourage them.
