A successful businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Abbey Aliago on Sunday, August 30, 2020 marked his birthday anniversary. Aliago who is based in the United Kingdom deemed it fit to put smiles on the faces of the physically challenged as part of the activities to mark his birthday anniversary. He expressed love and concerned towards the physically challenged persons by giving out cash and gift items to them.
He spoke to them through an online call from the UK and has this to say.”I am grateful to God for keeping me alive to mark yet another birthday. It is God’s love and goodness that one is having an opportunity to mark another birthday. So many persons here in the UK have died of the pandemic but, I thank God for keeping me safe to be alive. This is why I have decided to extend my love to the physically challenged. I have them at heart and will continue to show them love and care with the resources God has blessed me with.”
Aliago who was physically represented by Comr. Craig Oseh, the National Coordinator for Ika Youth Congress noted that occasions like this is just an avenue to show love to humanity. Oseh commended Aliago’s effort for always putting smiles on the faces of the physically challenged.
In his words, “activities like this are not new to us as a body as Mr. Aliago has always shown his philanthropic gestures towards the physically challenged. If you recall, he gave out palliative to them during the lockdown occasioned by the pandemic. I want to encourage him to continue in this regard and not to be deterred.”
Beneficiaries were full of praises and offered prayers for Mr. Aliago. They prayed God to continually bless him and keep him in good health.
