The remains of late Madam Adaeke Theresa Maha of Idumu-Obi Quarters, Akumazi-Umuocha Kingdom, in Ika North East Local Government Area has been committed to mother earth on Friday December 18, 2020 at her family compound in Akumazi-Umuocha after a memorial service conducted in her honour by the Living Faith Church, also known as, Winners Chapel, Akumazi-Umuocha.
The well attended burial ceremony had the children and relatives of late Maha poured encomiums on her for a life well spent.

Responding, the first son of the deceased, Mr. Chukwuma Sunday stated that his late mother was a good woman anyone will wish to have as a mother. He said himself; his siblings, grand-children and relatives will forever miss their late mother most especially for her care.
The second child and first daughter, Mrs. Blessing Onyehumishi said she is still very sad over the death of her mother despite she passed on at the age of 72 years.
According to her, “I take solace over her death because she left us (children) united and sharing love for one another. She made us believe that bitterness for one another brings nothing but division, even as she taught us that having good heart pays despite that it’s sometime abused.
“Even in death, I will continue to celebrate my mother for the good life she lived that she will forever be remember and greatly miss”, she said.
Late Madam Maha’s third child and second daughter, Mrs. Stella Azuh said she and her children will forever miss her mother for her care, saying that she’s yet to accept the fact that her mother is dead. She prayed God for her peaceful repose, while pledging to uphold her mother’s good legacy by living her exemplary life that many saw and admired.
Other of late Madam Maha’s daughters, Mrs. Ngozi Udoka, Mrs. Nkechi Emmanuel, Mrs. Ogechi Felix and Mrs. Ewere Victor expressed the fact that they are happy as one family laying the remains of their mother to rest. They said their joy despite the cold hand of their snatched their mother away is that she was never found wanting for any fault while alive.
According to them, “We are proud to have late Madam Adaeke Theresa Maha as our mother and we pray to have again as our mother if there is another world to come. She’s indeed a mother. We thank her for the good home training and pray God to grant her soul a peaceful rest”.
The last child of late Madam Maha, Mr. Simon Sunday, also known as Abu described her mother as an angel among humans and a mother per excellence whose milk of human kindness ran in her vein until her death.
Late Madam Maha’s sister, Mrs. Justina Mordi said her late aunty was not just a mother to her children but to everyone who came in contact with her. She recommended the virtuous lifestyle of Madam Maha to all mothers, adding that she lived a fulfilling Christian life.

Mrs. Mordi therefore remarked that the advice of Madam Maha made her lived peacefully with her husband before he departed from this sinful world. She prayed God for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
