Members of an apex Agbor group, Agbor Affairs on Monday, June 29 rolled out drums to celebrate the revered monarch of Agbor Kingdom,His Royal Majesty Dr Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekwuzi 1, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom,as he celebrated his 43 birthday anniversary.
The epoch event which took place at the Agbor Royal Palace ground, Ime-Obi was graced by illustrious sons and daughters of Agbor.
The Chairman, Agbor Affairs, Chief Pius Akaraka Nkem Oghonim,in his remark described the Dein of Agbor as a loving, caring and revered Royal Father whose love and vision for his people is great.
According to him,”We, members of Agbor Affairs are here at the Agbor Royal Palace to celebrate with our beloved King in whom we are well pleased as he celebrates his birthday today.We are very happy and proud to have him as our King and we will continue to support,pray and wish him long life on the throne. We thank all Agbor persons who are here with us to celebrate our dear Royal Father .We will continue to contribute our best towards the growth and development of Agbor Kingdom.”
Responding, the renowned Royal Father,Dein Keagborekwuzi 1, thanked members of Agbor Affairs for the visit and show of love. He also thanked other Agbor groups and individuals who were present at the palace.He wished them well in all their endeavours in life. While calling on his subjects to strive towards stronger unity, he promised to continue to do his best towards the overall growth of Agbor Kingdom.
High points of the event were cutting of the royal birthday cake, singing of happy birthday songs, presentations of gifts and taking of group photographs with His Royal Majesty Dr Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekwuzi 1, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom.
