A formidable security group under the auspices of Agbor Gha-Ihun, has said they will never give up in searching for a missing 61 years old tradomedical doctor, Mr. Adagbon Onyeagwuaibe-Esiokwu.
The Chairman of the group and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s security aide, Comr. Monday Kiyem, who stated this while speaking to newsmen in Agbor during the week, explained that Mr. Adagbon has been missing for a month ago precisely, on 19th of May, 2020, adding that he was kidnapped by some suspected herdsman while working in his farm.
Narrating the story surrounding Adagbon’s abduction, Comr. Kiyem said, “Adagbon was said to have been taking by suspected Fulani herdsmen. They took him and a woman whom he shares boundary within the farm, but the woman was later released after being flogged with cutlass.”
“Since the day of the kidnap, the abductors did not call for any ransom. Hence, the victim’s where about remains unknown. However, we are still in search for him and we are not going to give up,” Kiyem added.
Meanwhile, the Chairman called on the general public to assist his group with useful information that could possibly aid the discovery of the missing person.
He used the medium to solicit for government support so as to strengthen their workforce in community policing.
