The ancient Kingdom of Agbor has announced Sunday, October 4 as the celebration day of her 2020 Iwa Igi(New Yam) festival. This was disclosed from the Agbor Royal Palace, Ime-Obi during the week.
The Iwa-Igi festival which is one of the rich festivals of the Agbor people is usually celebrated in October every year. This year’s edition according to a source from the Agbor Royal Palace will be a grand one as it will be celebrated by Agbor sons and daughters both home and abroad.
All friends of Agbor Kingdom in different parts of the country are by this notice invited to be part of the celebration which indeed will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Agbor people.
