By Marvin Enyosa
The Executive Education Secretary of Ika South Local Government Education Authority, Mr. Imasua Amino, has been described as a charitable personality who was able to end his adversaries with a simple act of generosity. This was disclosed by a reputable man of God in Ika land and the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home, Agbor, Prophet Joseph Igbodo.
The clergy gave the above remark while dedicating to God, Baby Imasua-Amino Chukwuarionra, given to the family of the education secretary, by God.
The glamorous event which was well attended by notable personalities was held at Divine Faith Evangelical Mission located at No. 108 Charles Street, Agbor on Sunday, the 9th of August, 2020.
Prophet Igbodo who meditated on spirituality of giving, narrated how Amino gained victory over his long years of bareness in marriage, adding that Amino who according to him, is very kind, patient and helpful, showed compassion by caring for a sick orphan who was short of blood, he met at Job Orphanage Home and had God opened way for him.
He said, “I glorify the name of God for the family of Mr. Imasua Amino. Today, Amino who was empty and lost, was found now has a generation because of his show of generosity.
“One unique thing about Amino is that, he is a giver, and does not eat alone. I have received people countless of time asking me to thank Amino for his generosity. And this singular act gladdens my heart to know that Amino is doing his work and affecting his community.”
He also eulogized the delectable wife of Amino, pointing out that she is a woman of virtue who has been supportive to her humble husband, Amino.
The servant of God who further reflected on the power of giving, lamented the greedy ways of some political leaders, and in the same vein charged them to turn a new leaf by becoming liberal and ready to make sacrifices as the positions which they held, was not to enrich themselves but to make impact in the life of the people. “What is special is what you can do in the life of your neighbour,” he added.
“Being generous has a host of positive effects. It can improve your life in some surprising, health-enhancing and spiritual ways. The relationship between generosity and well-being is so strong that the opposite is also true as Selfishness can be self-destructive.
“As Christian’s, God wants us to show compassion and be generous to our neighbours. Therefore, I encourage all particularly, politicians to repent from their deceitfulness to start doing good things.
Meanwhile, Prophet Igbodo congratulated Amino and subsequently advised him to train the child in the ways of God. He prayed God to bless the guests and to help them become blessings to their generations.
