A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ika South Local Government, Elder Moses Nwakor, has said that there was no APC Ward Congress election in Ika South Local Government as stipulated in some quarters. Nwakor who stated this while addressing APC members last Friday at their party Secretariat along Charles Street, Agbor said, “There was no APC Ward Congress in Ika South Local Government. The APC scheduled Ward Congress of Saturday, July 31 never held in Ika South. Do not believe in lies that are being spread by people who want power at all cost. God is with us and He has created a path for us which no one can close. Hold on strongly to where you are as our political leader and principal, Chief Dr Cairo Ojougboh is working round the clock with other APC leaders in the country to ensure that the right thing is done as far as our party Congress is concerned.
He commended the party’s Ward Chairmen in Ika South for their dedication and commitment towards the growth of the party, urging them not to relent in their support for the party.
Another Chieftain of the party, Hon Isaac Ulebor who was present at the meeting called on APC members in the local government especially, women to continue to support the party and also keep praying for Dr Cairo Ojougboh who he said is doing his best to move APC forward.
On his part, a stalwart of the party, Mr Chuks Osazuwa said he is strongly convinced that no one will be able to take over the leadership of APC in Ika South from Dr Cairo Ojougboh.
“Chief Dr Cairo Ojougboh remains our great and number one leader in Ika South. We should keep supporting Ojougboh because he has our interest at heart”.
Silas Ojete, Mrs Faith Ebie and Clement Ebie in their separate remarks at the meeting pledged their unalloyed loyalty and unflinching support for the Ojougboh leadership of APC in Ika South. They urged all party faithful at the meeting to double to their support for APC and Ojougboh as big rewards await them in the future.
