A Community leader and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Barr. Reuben Mgbodi has celebrated the yuletide with the youths of his Owanta Community. He thanked them for their support, unalloyed loyalty and strong commitment to deliver PDP 5/5 come 2023 general elections.
Mgbodi who is a Notary Public and also, Senior Special Assistant to the executive governor of Delta State, on Research/Planning charged the youths to work very hard so as to get bloc votes for the PDP at the polls, ranging from presidency to the State House of Assembly polls.
The colourful celebration which took place on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Barr. Reuben Mgbodi Avenue, off Old Abraka Road, Boji-Boji, Owa in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State had in attendance, the PDP Ika North East LGA Ward 5 executive members, Youths of Owanta Community and other stakeholders.
In his speech, Hon. Barr. Reuben Mgbodi appreciated the youths for their unrelenting efforts to support PDP over the years, positing that PDP is the only party that can liberate Nigeria from her present predicaments.
In his words, “This is Hon Barr. Reuben Mgbodi Political Support Group geared towards delivering PDP 5/5 come 2023. This group comprises over three hundred members in Ward 5, Owanta Community.I’m always happy to identify with you. It gives me joy to see you happy and supporting our party, PDP. Okowa is our God sent leader. He has done well. If Okowa didn’t touch your life directly, he might have touched someone in your family or Community. We have benefitted a lot from Okowa.
He added, “You people are my backbone. Nothing is too small or big. In the spirit of this festivities, I want you all to accept this token from me.Let us work assiduously to deliver PDP 5/5 come 2023 general elections. We are in to support the system.
Let us not relent in our support and dedication to the party, we will surely reap our dividends of democracy.

While wishing the youths a happy and prosperous new year, Mgbodi enjoined them to preach the good message of PDP to their friends, family members and business associates in their various units in Ward 5, Owanta Community.
Responding to Barr Reuben Mgbodi kind gesture, the Owanta Youths Chairman,Mr. Isioma Egwu noted that Mgbodi is a leader with a heart of gold, and has done well for them.
He asurred that they are solidly behind Mgbodi and they will follow as he leads.
