It was all thanks to the Almighty God last Sunday at St Michael’s Anglican Church, Owa-Alero,Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State as the father of the executive governor of Delta State and the Ojeangbe of Owa Kingdom, Chief Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa gave thanks to the Almighty God for the gift of life after a health challenge. The respected community leader was joined in the thanksgiving service by his children, relatives and friends. Among those present were: the Director, Delta State Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa, Mr Ndudi Don Agholor, former Divisional Police Officer, Agbor Division, SP Samuel Yohana Kwabe,
Mrs Ngozi Ebegboni, Chief Emmanuel C.Nwaebo and Hon Greg Egwu,alias, Alatorguwa.
Chief Okowa who could not hide his joy said that he will remain grateful to the Almighty God for all He has done for him and his family. He thanked, Ven. J.O.C. Adudu of St Michael’s Anglican Church and all persons who were in the church with him to thank God.
The Okpanran-Uku while declaring that he is going to remain faithful to God, called on Christians to remain committed and dedicated, noting that God will never allow them to suffer shame no matter the level of tribulations.
