…urges support for Agbor monarch

Member of the Delta State Justice of the Peace (JP), Chief Sunday Solomon Ibude, the Odozi Obodo of Ejeme-Aliogor and Agubata I of Ugbudu-akan kingdom, has congratulated some Agbor indigenes who were recently installed as Chiefs in Agbor kingdom.
Chief Ibude who was speaking with Ika Mirror during the week, explained that the choice of persons been installed as Chiefs such as, Mr. Wilson Oni Agbobu, Comr. Kester Otabor, Comr. Oghonim Akaraka Nkem amongst others, by the king, HRM Dr. Benjamin Ikenchuku, Keagborekuzi I, the Dein of Agbor kingdom, was at his discretion, having found them worthy to serve.
He posited that the beneficiaries had shown some distinctive features to make them stand out amongst their equals, adding that the monarch decision remains sacrosanct and geared towards building trusted allies in his chief council, to enable him render effective services to his people.
Meanwhile, Chief Ibude congratulated the new chiefs and in the same vain, encouraged them to humble themselves and always deliver on their mandate.
Speaking further, the community leader eulogized the revered Agbor king, whom he described as his mentor
and a man next to God.
He pointed out that Dein of Agbor is a distinguished king with international recognition and mentor to many.
He observed that the king is bold, fierce and undaunted by the antics of some group of individuals who claimed to be well connected.
Chief Ibude also noted that it remains sacrosanct for all the indigenes to respect the opinions of their king and not hunt him for trying to correct some observed anomalies.
“Dein of Agbor kingdom is a king who love his people as a father. Hence, people should not under rate him.
“All we need to do is to come together as one big family that we are to support the king whose door has remained opened to all and sundry,” he added.

“Dein of our own. Therefore, we are duty bound to protect him and also support him for Agbor to get to its place of Eldorado.
