Members of United Rainbow Peace Movement (URPM), comprising of youths of different religions living in Agbor, has congratulated Chief Sunday Solomon Ibude on his new chieftaincy title as Mebozosome Dein of Agbor kingdom.
The group which expressed joy over the honour bestowed by the paramount ruler of Agbor kingdom, HRM Dr. Benjamin Ikenchuku, Keagborekuzi I, the Dein of Agbor kingdom, described the development as well deserved.
The group Chairman and Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Security Matters, Land/Waterways, Comr. Jinadu Imam, who spoke to newsmen on the development, explained that the chieftaincy title conferred on Chief Ibude was a mark of honour and the gains of loyalty, pointing out that Chief Ibude has shown much confidence and tremendous values of the king whose personality, according to him, was immeasurable.
He encouraged the new Agbor Chief to maximize the privilege given to him by the king to further build peace and enhance governmental relationship with Agbor kingdom.
“While wishing the Mebozosome Dein of Agbor kingdom a successful reign, on behalf of the entire members of URPM, I encourage him not to waiver in his determination to change some negative view of the kingdom and join hand with the king to reposition the land for global appreciation.
Also speaking the Secretary and Spokesman to the group, Comr. Ogaga Orume and Comr. Sani Saidu Makarfi, extolled the virtue of the newly installed Chief who also hold two other chieftaincy titles from respective kingdoms.
They acknowledged that Chief Ibude is a bridge builder being a rallying point for many, and in the same vein thanked the Dein of Agbor for the honour.
“Chief Ibude is indeed a great leader and mentor. He has done so much to give joy to the people and would always try his best to bring the people, particularly the youths together. We the members of URPM join millions of his well wishers to celebrate him even as we wish him a successful reign,” they added.
