The management of Perky Guest House located at Owanta Junction by Efeizomor Street, Boji Boji, Owa, Delta State today unveiled the latest addition to their chains of entertainment dubbed Club Perky.
Club Perky is a luxury spot for complete relaxation suitable for birthday parties, lounge, bar, celebration of life etc.
It is complemented with an in house DJ for an all round music supply to complete the entertainment cycle.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Ola Tumulafe and was witnessed by some notable personalities including Barr Victor Ebonka (The Ika North East Local Government Area Chairman) ably represented by Hon Egbule (The secretary to the Local Government Council), Dr and Dr Mrs. Tibi, Dr Uche J I, Comrade Augustine Omeife, Comrade Dennis Araro, Engr. Mandys Ikpon, Engr. Patrick Melekwe, Augustine Isimite and a host of other dignitaries. Representatives of hotel owners in Ika land were also present.
In a short remark, Dr E U Tibi, praised the Director of the Club, Dr Mrs. Nwaham, describing her as an astute businesswoman that always has her eyes on the ball.
Similarly, Mr. Ola Tumulafe, described Dr Mrs. Nwaham as an amazing entrepreneur with a midas touch.
On her part, the Director of Club Perky, Dr Mrs. Nwaham, in her address, took her guests to the little beginning of Perky Guest House, which she founded in the year 2000 with a flat of four rooms. She made bold to say, that today, that four rooms has grown into 38 rooms self contain, with standard rooms that boast of comfort, beauty and security.
She traced her success story to grace of God, persistence, desire for success, and desire to serve humanity.
At the end, she thanked the guest for honouring her with their presence during the ceremony while describing the reasons behind the establishment of Club Perky as her modest effort to boost the social life and introduce a more suitable way of relaxation in Ika land.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the official cutting of the tape to formally open the Club to fun seekers for their patronage.
