Desmond Ekokotu emerges COEASU Chairman
Mr. Desmond Ekokotu of Mathematics Department, College of Education, Agbor, has emerged the new Chairman, College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU). Ekokotu was announced winner of the election by the Dr Agidi Pally Ejime electoral committee after a strong contest. With his victory, Ekokotu is to pilot the affairs of COEASU for the next five years. He is going to succeed Comrade Azani Nwabukwu Ubaka who was elected five years ago. Ekokotu Desmond Aghoghor polled 77 votes to defeat his close rival in the election, Okwagi Patrick of Chemistry Department who scored 63 votes, while Barr Ekpenisi Kingsley of Theatre Arts came out third position with 56 votes.
