Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Project Monitoring, Comr. Engr. Emmanuel Chuks Mormah, has felicitated with the Majority Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Festus Chukwuyem Okoh, a.k.a, Chuky Dandy, as he marks his fifth year as the member representing Ika South Constituency at the State Legislative Arm.
The governor’s aide, in his congratulatory message to the lawmaker, thanked the good people of Ika South for electing him for a second tenure as their representative at the state seventh assembly.
He commended the people for their unflinching love and cooperation towards the success of Hon. Okoh’s fifth year in office, enjoining them to sustain the temple to enable Hon. Okoh whom he described as capacity leader, attract more meaningful development to Ika South LGA.
Speaking further, the young leader enumerated some sagacious moves cum achievements of the lawmaker within five years which includes sponsoring and co-sponsored bills for

Aside bills, he has moved several motions that are of huge benefits to the constituents. These include:
●Motion calling on the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to repair the bad portion of Agbor-Abuja Expressway.
●Motion calling on the state governor to include Ika South as one of the oil producing areas.
●Motion calling on the state governor to direct the law enforcement agencies to check the activities of Fulani herdsmen in Delta State.
●Motion calling on the state governor to check the effects of rainstorm that destroyed some parts of Abavo etc.
He remarked that the effort of the Hon. Okoh through the aforementioned bills consolidated on the gains of unity, peace and tolerance among the constituents and Deltans at large, for the betterment of all.
Comr. Engr. Mormah who is also the Director General of Delta Initiative Forum, DIFO, used the medium to appreciate leaders and executive members of PDP, as well as party supporters for giving Hon. Okoh another opportunity to represent Ika South Constituency on the platform of the PDP.
He also appreciated Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for the number of developmental projects visible in Ika South LGA right from his first tenure as the Governor of Delta State till date, and was optimistic that more development will come to the area following the assurance by the lawmaker to continue to initiate and support Bills towards the enactment of laws that would help to improve the educational, agricultural, health, infrastructural and security sectors, as well as women and youth empowerment through poverty alleviation initiatives.
While encouraging Hon. Okoh to keep the flag flying high, Engr. Mormah urged the people of Ika South Constituency to sustain their support and prayers for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Hon. Okoh to enable them deliver on their second mandates in the face of enormous challenges.
