Engr Moses Ebede has been inaugurated as Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ika South Chapter. The inauguration ceremony which took place last Saturday at Agbor was attended by the Delta North Chairman of the party, Chief George Okafor, the Delta North senatorial candidate of the party in the 2019 National Assembly election, Hon Doris Uboh, former chairman, Ika South Local Government, Hon Hilary Fada Ibude, APC LGA Chairmen in Delta North, State executive members of the party, ward Chairmen and members of the party drawn from the senatorial district.
Performing the inauguration ceremony, the State Legal Adviser of the party, Barr Valentine Onojeghuo while congratulating Engr Ebede charged him to discharge his duties diligently in the interest of the people.
Ebede addressing newsmen shortly after his inauguration ceremony said that he is out to promote unity in the party, stressing that all aggrieved members should sheathe their swords and join hands with him to move APC in Ika South forward.
He stated that as an experienced grassroot leader he is going to ensure that all persons who are members of the party in the local government are recognized and appreciated.
“I’m grateful to the Almighty God for my successful inauguration ceremony. I thank leaders of our great party for the confidence reposed on me, they have truly done well and I will remain grateful to them. By God’s grace, I will not disappoint our good people of Ika South and Party. My number one priority is to build a stronger and better APC in our local government. Therefore, I appeal to all APC members in our local government to rally round me and members of my executive for the growth of our party. I have come to change the narrative and together we are going to achieve our aim.”
While thanking all members of the party who were present at the inauguration ceremony he promised to render quality, selfless and result oriented leadership to them. He used the medium to extend an olive branch to his colleagues in the party, assuring that he is going to operate an open door policy for the interest of all members of the party in the local government.
