Agbor “N” Gidi Association, home branch, lauded the Ika South Local Government Area Council Chairman, Hon. Bar. Victor Okoh for his initiative constructing Edike Market.



The group in a press release signed by the chairman, Dr. Onyeamechi Ugboh and the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Comrade Lucky Omorojie, described the Edike Market construction as a welcome development to Agbor and entire Ika South LGA.
According to the group, “We are happy over the Edike market construction. In all, we are impressed over the accessibility of the market location and its size to accommodate many traders.
“From our findings, it’s not just a food market, but one that will accommodate all other forms of trading. It’s a large market with many open shops, lockup shops and has enough space to accommodate traders with caravan.
“When completed and if well managed by the council we are in hopeful will boast her internally generated revenue (IGR) and as well create employment for the people of the area and environ.
“We are calling on all market men and women within and outside the LGA to hurry now and secure a shop for the fact that sooner it will be a market and business hub”.
The group used the opportunity to thank in a special way, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Benjamin Ikenchuku Keagborekuzi I for his continued visit to the market site to inspect the level of work done, his fatherly role and advice.
