A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and member Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council, Pa John Nwagimeje, has commended the executive governor of the State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the mature and efficient manner he handled the EndSARS protests that took place indifferent states across Nigeria, including Delta State.
The revered community leader described Governor Okowa as a charismatic and result oriented leader whose top priority is the welfare and safety of Deltans.
According to Pa Nwagimeje, “I’m indeed happy and satisfied with the mature and efficient manner our dear and result oriented Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa handled the EndSARS protests in Delta State. Governor Okowa was not only able to nip the protests in the bud but, he also responded very quickly.
He did not allow the protests to escalate before he intervened. This showed that he is a very good, intelligent, responsible and charismatic leader who is always out to protect the interest and safety of his people. I am not only proud of Governor Okowa, I am also commending him for the good work.”
He used the medium to call on youths in the state to remain peaceful and law abiding and work in synergy with the Okowa’s Government for the overall development of the State.
While expressing hope that Governor Okowa will finish strong, Nwagimeje called on Deltans to remain supportive of Okowa who he said is moving the State to a higher height.
