It was indeed a memorable moment at Alisimie, Agbor, Delta State as Mr Friday Naba bid his beloved mother, late Mrs Regina Naba farewell to eternity.
The burial ceremony which started on Thursday, October 29 was rounded up on Sunday, with a thanksgiving service at Saint Mark Catholic Church, Alisimie, Agbor.
The ceremony was attended by family members, members of Saint Mark Catholic Church, Alisimie, members of Alisimie Community, members of different Agbor groups and friends.
In an interview, the eldest son of the deceased, Mr Friday Naba described his late mother as a very caring and loving woman who did her best to build a better future for her children and family members. He said she would be missed for the good life she lived. He thanked all those who joined him and members of his family to give their late matriarch a befitting burial.
Late Mrs Regina Naba died at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, including grand and great grand children. She was before her transition a respected Community leader and devoted member of Saint Mark Catholic Church, Alisimie.
