The burial ceremony of late Senior Apostle Patrick C. Uyanwanne, also known as, Adiba, a father in-law to Hon Austin Otugo was concluded last weekend at Ute-Ogbeje,in Ika North East Local Government Area,Delta State.
The body of the late patriarch of the Uyanwanne family was intered at his compound at Ute-Ogbeje on Saturday, August 8, 2020 after a funeral service in his honour at The Eternal Sacred Order Of The Cherubim and Seraphim, Ute-Ogbeje.
Late Senior Apostle Patrick Chukwunweike Uyanwanne was born on February 11, 1925 into the family of Mr and Mrs Uyanwanne Ekwuasia of Imike Quarters in Ute-Ogbeje,Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta State.He was a revered community leader and successful farmer cum businessman. He was also a devoted Christian, a honest, loving, peaceful and courageous man who impacted positively on the lives of many persons who came his way while on earth. He would be missed and remembered for his good deeds.
In her tribute to her late father, Mrs. Grace Otugo said, “Daddy, it is difficult to forget you in my memory.You cared for everyone during your life time. You lived a good life worthy of emulation and set a standard for your children and loved ones. Even as you slept in the Lord, you are still with us. Though, I can’t see you now but,I still feel your presence with me in my heart and in my life always. Rest on in the bosom of the Lord till we meet to part no more”.
Meanwhile, Hon Austin Otugo while describing his father in-law as a great and good man thanked all persons, including family members who came around to join them give their late father a befitting burial.
