The resolved of Agbor people that in 2023, the House of Representatives position for Ika Federal Constituency should return to Ika South is unshakable. The reasons for this genuine and equitable stance are obvious and do not require further narrative.
However, we have it in good authority of vestigial plans by some rich politicians with inordinate ambition to truncate the resolve. Their plan is to sponsor some persons from Agbor and Abavo for the position in order to balkanize our votes to favour a particular person from another local government area.
These willing tools have been well briefed by our political enemies on how best to actualize the project. In no distant time, they will pretend to fall out with these power brockers to create impression that their intention to seek the position is genuine. We are smarter.
For the avoidance of doubt, we are monitoring the activities of these mercenaries with a view to unmask them when and if necessary.
We therefore advise, appeal and lastly warn these political contractors to retrace their steps as the consequences are huge and regrettable.
