Mrs. Henrietta Okpambor, the wife of late Hon. Christian Okpambor, has stated that she has lost half of herself, with the shocking and untimely death of her beloved husband.
Mrs. Okpambor, who was in grief made the statement during an interactive session with newsmen at their residence during the burial of her late husband.
In a voice ladened with pain and sorrow, She stated that there was no amount of words which she can use to express her feelings, saying “I have lost a great man in my life, of which I have lost half of me and I don’t think there is going to be anyone in this world that would be like my husband; I miss him, he was a lovable man that took good care of me and my children, and also the members of his family”.
Continuing, she stated that her darling husband will always be remembered as a Great Man of Ika land, maintaining that Ika land had lost a kind hearted man who loved taking care of the needy, a man that was ready to die for everyone.
Speaking further, she described her late husband as a man who loved and cherished his family and friends, by empowering everyone who came his way; a man who was a hero to all who knew him, a man who believed in sharing and caring and a man who put smiles on peoples’ faces.
Mrs. Henrietta Okpambor, who described the exit of her husband as a great loss, stated that she will never be the same person again because a great part of her has left. She urged her husband to sleep until they will meet on the day of resurrection.
