A member of National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners, NANTMP in Abavo kingdom, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Dr. Lawrence Owere said that he was arrested by marine spirit as he learnt on how to practice trado-medical works.
Dr. Lawrence Owere who is the Ogbuoshishi 1 of Abavo kingdom said that he was arrested by marine spirit for the past 40 years ago, had been passing the knowledge he got from marine spirit to his children in case he passed away, the knowledge will not die.
According to Ogbuoshishi 1 that he has used roots and herbs to treat people with different ailments such as stroke, swelling of body, epilepsy, pile, barrenness, weak erection and marine spirit attack etc.
Dr. Ogbuoshishi who is the secretary to NANTMP, Abavo chapter made the assertion in a chat with journalists at his country home Abavo recently, advised his colleagues to practice trado-medical work with zeal and truth to avoid bringing ridicule to other members practicing the job.
Ogbuoshishi called on Delta state government to extend developmental strides to his area (Abavo) in terms of construction of link roads, sinking of portable bore-hole water. He thanked H.R. M Obi Uche Irenuma, prayed God almighty to Grant him long life on throne as he continues to pilot the affairs of Abavo kingdom to a greater height.
