The Ihu-Iyase Zone of the Ministers Forum, which comprised Ministers of God from different Christian denominations in the area, on Saturday, August 15, 2020, hosted other Ministers and representatives from Agbor, Oza-Nogogo, Abavo and Ekuku-Agbor Zones.
All in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State; when they had their Ministers Conference.
The Conference whose main objective is targeted towards having a strong indivisible family and a revival of corporate anointing in the vineyards of God for greater exploits.
Was held at the Church auditorium of City of Bliss Church, Aliokpu, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
In his exhortation, the Coordinator of the Forum and the Guest Speaker at the Conference, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who spoke on the message he titled.
“The Great Power Of God”, took his Bible reading from the books of First Samuel 26:11-27, Isaiah 61:1-11, Daniel 6:10 and Proverbs 20:14.
Admonishing the gathering, he stated that the calling of a man for the work of God, starts from the Holy Spirit which is the interpreter of the word of God; explaining that the journey of Christianity starts from the Trinity, namely; God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit; saying that “The calling of God varies from one individual to the other, which can be described as different administration but one Spirit”.
He revealed that it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that makes people to know that a Man has the calling of God; maintaining that without Evidence, which is the Holy Spirit manifesting in the life of a Man, he cannot be said to have God’s calling.
Continuing, the General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, disclosed that the idea of organizing the Conference was for them to stop the ills that has been going on in the house of God; emphasizing that the calling of God is rooted on salvation, saving the people and bringing them back to God; warning that if they cannot show the evidence of their calling, it means that such individual is a failure. He urged them to always pray for the knowledge of God and to let the word of God abide in their hearts, so that they can excel in their calling; noting that if they neglect God, they neglect wealth and all the good things of life.
Prophet Igbodo, noted that some of the men of God are very lazy in the things of God; urging that if they can be able to fight sleep, God will satisfy them with abundant riches; disclosing that their greatness is in the hand of God, for when God is with them, they will be honoured by God and men; advising that as Men of God, they are the Eyes of the City.
Speaking further, the Elect of God, who is the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home and the Proprietor of St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, charged the Ministers to keep the Commandments of God, so that they can enjoy the bountiful blessings of God. He asked the gathering a question, “Who Is Pursuing You?”, Proffering answer to the question, he stated that as an individual, people will pursue you if you are a child of God; saying that if they are not productive, nobody will come to follow them in their Ministry.
He enjoined them to change from their evil ways and return back to God in order for people to follow them in serving and worshipping God.
He urged them to stop giving more attention to their farm but to put God first and come back fully to Him.
Prophet Joseph Igbodo, appreciated the Ministers for attending the Conference and encouraged them to always advertise Jesus Christ, which is their major calling and to work in accordance to the commandments of God, so that they can bear fruits and benefit continually from the blessings of God.
In a related development, Evangelist Paul Ebede, in a brief remark informed the Conference delegates about the several benefits inherent in their continuous reading of the word of God, the Holy Bible and using the word to accomplish their desires.
He also encouraged them to read educative Christian materials, so that they can be able to teach and impact knowledge on their members.
He further enjoined them to have a unique attribute, so that anyone who comes around them would always have something to remember them with.
The Conference which had Fifty Ministers and other Church workers in attendance, featured corporate anointing and prayer session for spiritual revival; it also witnessed song ministration and distribution of Christian literature books to the Conference delegates by Evang. Paul Ebede.
Some notable personalities at the Conference included; Prophet Joseph Igbodo, Apostle Dr. Joseph Ekuma, Rev. Joseph Osayande JP, Evang. Paul Ebede, Pastor (Mrs.) D. Ebie, Pastor Chuks Ayogbe, Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Austin Ikpegbu, Pastor Benjamin Glory, Pastor Abraham Maduka, Pastor Friday Nzeh, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Michael Okorie, Pastor Ade and Brother Chuks Ossai, amongst many others.
Highpoint of the Conference was the presentation of food items and toiletries, by Prophet Joseph Igbodo, to the Ministers for entertainment.
The donated items include; several cartons of indomie noddles, cartons of Bobo fruit juice, cartons of biscuits, cartons of sprite, fanta and coca cola drinks, cartons of malt drinks, cartons of gala, rolls of cheese ball, rolls of tissue papers and packets of sweets.
