Pray for Okowa, Victor Okoh, others

Physically Challenged Persons in Ika Land last Saturday, September 12, 2020 organized a prayer session for the executive Chairman,Ika South Local Government Council, Hon(Barr) Victor Okoh. The physically challenged persons also used the medium to pray for the executive governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the executive Chairman, Ika North East Local Government Area, Hon(Barr) Victor Ebonka, the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Delta North Senatorial District, Deacon Moses Dickson Iduh, Chairman, PDP, Ika South, Mr Jude Onya and Chairman, PDP, Ika North East, Hon Chuks Agboma.

The prayer session which took place at the Edike Street Temporary Market site in Agbor was witnessed by Hon(Barr) Victor Okoh and some members of his executive. The physically Challenged Persons who were drawn from different communities in the area prayed for success in the remaining part of the Hon Victor Okoh’s tenure in office.

They described Okoh as a result oriented chairman who since his assumption of office has not disappointed the people of Ika South. The prayer session featured praises and worship to the Almighty God for giving Okoh the opportunity, good health and wisdom to govern his people at the local level.

Speaking to newsmen, the Chairman, Physically Challenged Persons in Ika Land, Comrade John Paul stated that the essence of the prayer session was to express their love for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon Victor Okoh, Deacon Moses Dickson Iduh, Mr Jude Onya, Hon Victor Ebonka and Hon Chuks Agboma. He promised that his group will continue to support and pray for the successes of the aforementioned political leaders.

He used the opportunity to call on the people of Ika South to support Victor Okoh as he leads the local government to a greater height.
Meanwhile, the John Paul physically challenged group has called on the people of the local government to re-elect, Hon(Barr) Victor Okoh in the council election that is expected to take place in January next year. They said that Okoh has done very well, hence, he deserves a second term in office. We are supporting Okoh because he has our interest at heart. We have people who have served as lawmakers for two or more terms, Victor Okoh will be different. The God of the disabled people will give Hon Okoh victory when the time comes.
