The Ika South Local Government Area Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have called on her members to remain committed and work towards the overall growth of the party. The call was made last Friday, August 28, by the Chairman of the party in the local government, Elder Moses Nwakor during the general meeting of the party at its Secretariat in Agbor.
Nwakor while addressing members urged them to be focused, dedicated and regular at meetings as the party leadership will not tolerate any form of indiscipline among members.
He said, “Let us help to grow our party, APC. Let us not be distracted by the activities of other political parties. Where we are at the moment is the right place to be. Let us be faithful, committed, dedicated and focused so as to enable us achieve our goal as a political party.”
Speaking further, Nwakor stated, “Our respected leader and the executive Director of Project,NDDC, Chief(Dr) Cairo Ojougboh is very proud of you all. He wants you to double your support for the party. With your support and prayer APC will take over governance in Ika South and Delta State in general.”
He thanked the party’s LGA executive members, ward chairmen, men, women and youths who are members of the party for support so far, enjoining them not to relent in the good work they are doing for the party.
The Vice-Chairman of the party, Mr Silas Ojete in his brief speech during the meeting hailed Emmanuel Ojemeh, Chuks Osazuwa, Sunday Nwange, Heritage Ugbebor and Comrade Clement Ebie for the promoting the party positively online. He called on members of the party to join hands to project its image before the public, noting that with collective efforts AP C will be victorious in all her future elections.
Speaking in the same vein, the youth leader of the party in Ika South, Comrade Clement Ebie called on members particularly, youths to work hard and have respect for the leadership of the party. He reiterated support for Dr Cairo Ojougboh, described him as the overall leader of the party not only in Ika South but Delta North in general.
Others members of the party in their separate remarks pledged their total support, assuring that they are not going to be detered in their unflinching support and loyalty to the party and Ojougboh.
