Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (Isaiah 60:1-3)
A city located on a hill can’t be hidden neither can a lamp be light up and keep it under the bed, for no matter where you hide it, it will surely shine. As I walked pass my dad, he was on call and was laughing profusely, so was the person on the other end, it was contagious as smile lit up on my face.
I signaled him…as in ‘who are you talking to’
“Nma come, someone wants to speak with you” my dad said to me.
That was the first time I heard his voice.
I have heard so much about him from my dad; his good deeds and his achievements.
I was so happy, meeting such an amiable and self-driven personality.
It was like I just spoke with one of my favourite celebrities.
That was when I bumped into gold…
You will not understand…
From my recent findings, I happen to come across the fact that in order to receive, you should give; as givers never lack.
And I have come to confirm that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
I unknowingly did experiment for that.
I have come to know that from someone whose achievements makes him my ‘idol’.
Pharm Isaiah Etuonu Okoh born on 20th of October, 1969 into the family of Late Mr. and Mrs. John Okoh, both of Ekuku Agbor. The 17th of the 21 children in a polygamous home, and moving through the rough path of life, he has been able to create an undimming light and has thus made a mark on the inhabitants of the earth.
From Ekuku Agbor down to the far ends of the US, his light still continues to shine consistently for he has not forgotten his people.
No wonder he is tagged “the light giver”, for he is indeed a giver of light.
You know what…. I admire him.
For my admiration for him, I look forward to meeting him.
And when we cross path, I shall take his autograph which I would frame and place on the wall of my room just to adore it.
So please, help me say a word of prayer for him.
‘He deserves it after all’
