An illustrious son of Otolokpo and a Lagos based businessman, Mr Jude Osafiele, popularly known as, Lagos Governor, last Saturday, October 10, doles out cash to select elders at Otolokpo. The gesture was part of the yearly routine selfless programmes of Jude Osafiele to his people. The beneficiaries were drawn from the various quarters that make up Otolokpo.
His Royal Majesty Collins Alioma Ezenwali, the Obi of Otolokpo witnessed the ceremony which took place in his palace.
He described Jude Osafiele as a worthy ambassador of his people. While thanking the Idumu Okete born businessman for sustaining the good work, Obi Alioma urged him to continue to identify with his people for they are very proud of him. He wished him well in every of his endeavours in life.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke during the ceremony expressed gratitude to Jude Osafiele for his love for them. The prayed the Almighty God to continue bless, protect and guide him and members of his family.
High point of the ceremony was the presentation of cash to the beneficiaries by Mr Goddey Osafiele, who represented the donor, Jude Osafiele at the ceremony.
