Physically cahllenged persons in lka South Local Goernment Area, Delta State, under the aegis ” Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities, JONAPWD, have congratulated the executive Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa,CON and the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Dr Benjamin lkenchuku Keagborekwuzi 1, CON,on the national honours awards given to them by President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Buhari, recently honoured prominent and distinguished Nigerians for their immense contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development.
Governor lfeanyi Okowa and the Dein of Agbor were honoured as Commanders Order of the Niger(CON).
The group also congratulated the Chairman, Zenith Bank PLC, Mr Jim Ovia, Puublisher, Thisday Newspaper and owner of Arise TV, Prince Nduka Obaigbena and Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky lrabor for their national awards.
They thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for recognizing the efforts of Okowa,Dein of Agbor, Jim Ovia, Nduka Obaigbena and General lrabor to Nation Building.They urged the awardees to remain committed in their selfless service to both humanity and the society at large.
They used the medium to appeal to the awardees to extend love to JONAPWD members, assuring that they will remain grateful for any assistance rendered to them.
