The Landlords of Deeper Life Community area which comprised Okpambor Drive, Asiwe, Upper Asiwe, Victor Amos, Ndi-Ugbo Community, Beautiful Gate and other streets within the location, on Saturday, August 1, 2020, joined other sympathizers to mourn Late Hon. Christian Okpambor, who was the former Chairman of the association.
The Landlords according to their spokesman, Mr. Dennis Azogbulem, were at the burial ceremony to pay their last respect and to say good bye to their leader.
Continuing, he described the deceased as a great leader, who led them so well during his tenure as their Chairman, a man who people follow, a man who understood the feelings of his people; disclosing that during the period of his stewardship late Okpambor, gave them two electricity transformers and also played a major role in championing the tarring of their area roads, which had recently been awarded for construction by the Delta State government; saying that the contractor will soon commence work on the road construction project.
Speaking further, he noted that Late Hon. Christian Okpambor, at his age before his death, does more than what some persons of his age could do.
Mr. Azogbulem, encouraged the children of their late leader to follow the footstep of their father, whom he stated lived a good life; assuring that members of the community haven witnessed all what he did for them, will follow his footstep in order to make sure that his legacies lives on.
Late Hon. Christian Okpambor, who died at the age of 50 years, was until his death the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development and Youth Matters.
