A veteran of the Nigerian Army and Community leader, Mr Joseph Arimichen Agboifo, popularly known as, Dokita Best has advised political office holders in Ika South Local Government Area to learn how to empower their people, stressing that everything should not be left for the state governor alone.
Agboifo , who spoke during the visit of the Delta North Peace and Reconciliation Committee members to Ika South during the week said that political office holders are there to serve the interest of their people and not the contrary, adding, “Ika South Local Government will grow fast if all political office holders are empowering people around them.”
Speaking in a related development, Dokita Best frowned at the attitude of young politicians in Ika South against their elders, stating that elders should always be respected.
“Ika South Local Government will grow to an enviable height if political office holders empower their people, including elders, Dokita Best stated.
