Overwhelmed by the supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual revival at their maiden gathering; Ministers of God from different Christian denominations in Ekuku-Agbor Zone, in their desire for more understanding of the undiluted word of God, specially requested for an opportunity to host the Ministers Forum the second time to enable them benefit immensely from the wisdom and teachings of the resource persons, who are accomplished and seasoned men of God.
With the approval from the Leadership of the Ministers Forum; Ekuku-Agbor Zone on Friday, August 28, 2020, hosted the Ministers Revival Conference at the church auditorium of Holy Ghost And Fire Deliverance Ministry, Ekuku-Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area Of Delta State, the event which witnessed large turnout, had about Ninety Men of God and other church workers in attendance.
In his exhortation/lectures, the Guest Speaker, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, during the First Session of the Conference spoke on Three different lectures.
Speaking on the First lecture which he titled, “Bear Fruit”, the General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, took his Bible reading from the book of John 15:16.
Admonishing the gathering he stated that for a person to bear fruit the person must be a friend to the Bible (The word of God) and also be a friend to Prayer; maintaining that the word of God is wisdom. Continuing, he stated that after calling a man, the anointing of God upon the head of the man makes him to bear fruits; saying that the fruits they bear is what advertises their Ministry. He emphasized that as Pastors they must be committed to the word of God and continually obey His Commandments before the blessings of God will manifest upon their lives; disclosing that fruits are God’s blessings which makes the work of God to be sweet.
He charged them to reexamine themselves whether the Lord who choose them for His work is satisfied with their efforts.
During the Second lecture, the Convener of the Ministers Forum, Prophet Igbodo; spoke on the message he titled, “God Is Love”, he took his Bible reading from the books of First John 3:11-24 and Psalms 125:1-4.
While counselling the Ministers, he informed them that the Ministry of God is Love, outside this, there is No Ministry; saying that the love of God is what brought man to life. Continuing, he stated that Love is what God used in putting down His word for mankind; explaining that God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are Love; noting that once a Man loves God, he follows the Principles of God.
Prophet Joseph Igbodo, charged them to learn how to do good if they want to be great and frowned at the situation where the Body of Christ (The Church) have failed in taking care of their flocks.
While analyzing the process of achieving God’s blessings, he stated that when someone abides in Love; that Love will upgrade the person to the level of Believe; while Believe will elevate the person to the level of Faith; Faith will further take the person to God; and God will take the person to a guaranteed life of His Abundant Blessings.
Speaking on the Third Message which he titled, “Let God Do It For You”, the General in the Lord’s Vineyard who also doubles as the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home and the Proprietor of St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, took his Bible reading from the book of Psalms 127:1-15.
Delivering his message, he enjoined the Ministers to always allow God to direct them because He is the owner of His Church; saying that some men of God do not seek for God’s opinion before embarking on what they want to do; warning that they will miss the track when they do not allow the Holy Spirit to interpret the Holy Bible for them.
The second session of the Conference featured a lecture from Evangelist Paul Ebede, an accomplished resource person who spoke on the message he titled, “You Must Understand What You Are Using”, he took his Bible reading from the books of Acts 18:24, John 14:12, Proverbs 30:5, Mark 11:23-24, Genesis 12:1, Mark 4:24, Second Kings 2:12, Revelation 5:12 and Romans 16:25-26.
Admonishing the gathering, he stated that many people have been in the Church for so many years without knowing the ABC of Christianity. He disclosed that the Gospel is the Power of God onto Salvation; explaining that it is the word of God (The Holy Bible), that they as Ministers will use to change circumstances; stressing that when they do not understand this simplicity, there will always be confusion and things will not work well. He encouraged them to have the word of God in their hearts, for when they do, it must reproduce required results; emphasizing that there is no Christianity without the word of God; saying that in it they will get Power, Riches, Wisdom, Security, Glory and Honour; urging that they should stop limiting themselves for God has given them the above gifts to do great things.
Speaking further, the Seasoned Educationists, informed the Pastors that God had promised them a life of abundance to enjoy His bountiful blessings, which He spelt out in their Appointment Letters, while calling them for His work.
He charged them to go home and produce a revival in their various environments.
The remarkable event which witnessed soul lifting Praise, Worship, Corporate Anointing/Revival Intercessory Prayer Sessions also featured Questions and Answers Session after the lectures.
Some notable Personalities at the meeting included; Prophet Joseph Igbodo, Rev. Joseph Osayande JP, Evang. Paul Ebede, Evang. Dominic Ebie, Pastor (Mrs.) D. Ebie, Pastor Chuks Ayogbe, Pastor Austin Ikpegbu, Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Benjamin Glory, Pastor Friday Nzeh, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Ade, Pastor Michael Okorie, Pastor Deborah Dikedi and Brother Chuks Ossai.
Highpoint of the meeting was the presentation of food items and toiletries, by Prophet Joseph Igbodo, to the Ministers for entertainment at the end of the day’s deliberations.
The donated items include; several cartons of indomie noddles, cartons of Bobo fruit juice, cartons of biscuits, cartons of coke, sprite and fanta orange drink, cartons of malt drink, cartons of gala and rolls of cheese ball.
In a vote of thanks, Rev. Joshua Igumbor, on behalf of the Pastors in Ekuku-Agbor, thanked Prophet Igbodo, for his kind gesture. He also appreciated him and members of his entourage for coming to further broaden their knowledge as regards their Pastoral calling. Rev. Igumbor, Prayed God to bless and prosper them exceedingly in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.
