In their determination of reawakening the zeal of the Men of God in Ika land for a corporate anointing of Spiritual revival, the leadership of the Ministers Forum; on Saturday, September 5, 2020, visited the Emuhu Zone of the Forum who hosted them for the Ministers revival Conference.
The Conference being the first in the Community, took place at the Church hall of Jesus The Healer Church, Emuhu, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. In attendance were about Forty men of God, including some Physically Challenged Persons who accompanied the Coordinator of the Program with delegates from Abavo, Ihu-Iyase and Agbor Zones.
In a brief exhortation, The Guest Speaker and Coordinator of the body, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who spoke on the message he titled, “Where Do You Belong To”, took his Bible reading from the books of John 15:16, Matthew 13:1, James 2:14-20, Psalms 112:1, Jeremiah 35:1-19, Matthew 6:25-33 and Isaiah 5:13.
Admonishing the gathering, he stated that the daily Principle of God is constant reading of the word of God (The Holy Bible), emphasizing that without the word of God in their lives, they will not bear fruits. He charged the Pastors in Emuhu to wake up and conquer the entire community for Christ; saying that the Conference was to incite them to action and be more committed to their calling in order for them to bear fruits and enjoy the bountiful blessings that are available in the Lord’s Vineyard; urging that they should be married totally to the word of God, if they want to draw down the power of God for miracles.
Continuing, the General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, reminded the Ministers of God at Emuhu, that God called them to bear fruits and not for farm work, stating that their major duty as Ministers is to build the flocks (Their Members); explaining that God choose and ordained them to bear fruits, which is for them to enjoy God’s blessings and divine fulfilment, disclosing that when they don’t bear fruits they will not have people that will come to their Ministry. He informed them that it is the word of God that builds a man, and when they do the work of God in holiness, every other thing of comfort would be added to them.
Speaking further, the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home, who is also the Proprietor of St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, enjoined the Men of God to always fight to win in their evangelical work and not to loose; saying that the Language of God is Faith, while the language of Satan is Fear. He urged them to have Faith in the word of God for through it they will achieve success in their Ministry; assuring that God can comfortably take care of them, without them engaging in farm work.
Prophet Joseph Igbodo, appreciated the Chairman and members of the Physically Challenged Persons and the Ministers for attending the Conference. He encouraged to always adhere to the commandments of God so that they can bear fruits and partake from the supernatural reward of God. He warned them to desist from forming Cooperative Societies in the Church and borrowing money from money lenders, in order not to bring shame to the Vineyard of God.
He also enjoined them not to hesitate in notifying the leadership of the Forum whenever any of them have challenges.
The second session of the Conference featured song ministration and Prayer session.
In a related development, Evangelist Paul Ebede, in a brief message admonished the Ministers to stand firmly for God in carrying out their work of evangelism. He reminded them of the benefits attached to their calling in the Appointment Letter which God gave them. He urged them to stop self pity, but to know whom they are and what God has given to them. He urged them to constantly meditate on the word of God, speak the word and God the Father will manifest the word.
Continuing, he informed the Ministers that the visit was to stir them up to do the work which God has chosen them to do in order to liberate their community for Christ; emphasizing that Jesus was killed for them to receive glory, power and honour; maintaining that the only way they can serve God diligently is by abiding to the word of God.
