Some Ministers of God from different Christian denominations in Oza-Nogogo and representatives from Abavo, Ekuku-Agbor and Ihu-yase Zones; all in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, on Saturday, August 8, 2020, held their Ministers Revival Conference.
The Conference, whose main objective geared towards bringing the Men of God together for a revival of Corporate Anointing and Mapping out modalities of having a more focused and united Body of Christ.
The remarkable event which took place at the Church Auditorium of Christ Abundance Miracle Church, Oza-Nogogo, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, had in attendance Sixty Ministers of God and other church workers.
In his exhortation, the Coordinator of the Forum and the Guest Speaker at the Conference, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who spoke on the message he titled, “No Holy Spirit, No Calling”, took his Bible reading from the books of Psalms 100:1, First Kings 2:1, First Kings 3:9, Proverbs 2:6 and John 15:16.
Admonishing the gathering, he stated that the Holy Spirit is the power of God, which starts the work of God; explaining that for a church to function effectively it must first experience the presence of the Holy Spirit which is the power of God; emphasizing that if the Holy Spirit does not dwell in a man, he cannot be a successful Minister of God; maintaining that if a person do not have the Holy Spirit, invariably he does not have the calling of God.
Continuing, the General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, who noted that most of them are not doing the work of God as they ought to; charged the Pastors to wake up to their responsibilities and be more committed to their calling of evangelism and soul winning. He frowned at the situation where some so called Ministers of God have derailed from their calling and ventured Into farming and other occupations; noting that, that is why they experience difficulties and several challenges in their Ministry.
Speaking further, the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home, who is also the Proprietor of St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, enjoined the Ministers to always read and meditate in the word of God, the Holy Bible, saying that the word of God is the food of the Spirit. He noted that being a Pastor is the best job on earth and it is not meant for lazy people; explaining that when the presence of God is upon an individual he begins to multiply and people will start following him; disclosing that there are three major things that are of great importance in the calling of God, namely; Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding; explaining that Understanding is used to operate Wisdom and Knowledge; saying that in the word of God, they know more about the will of God, which enables them obtain Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. Continuing, he reminded them that God chose and ordained them to bear fruits, so that their fruits will abide. He urged them to return to God completely, so that God will return back to them, so that they can benefit abundantly from the bountiful blessings of God.
He appreciated the Ministers for attending the Conference and encouraged them to always work in accordance to the commandments of God, so that they can bear fruits and partake from the everlasting blessings of God. He warned them to desist from joining cooperative societies and borrowing money from money lenders; in order not to bring ridicule to the Body of Christ.
The Conference which featured anointing and prayer session for spiritual revival, also witnessed song ministration by Evangelist Paul Ebede, after which he admonished the Conference participants to give and surrender their all to God; assuring that when they do, they will surely enjoy the blessings of God. He urged them not to limit God; but to picture all what God told them in His word, the Holy Bible; noting that if they use the authority of God to command the word, all their heart desires would be achieved; emphasizing that it is the word of God that produces the desired results, warning that they cannot get the required results outside the word of God. Finally, he charged the gathering to understand the word of God deeply and work with it, assuring that the word of God must produce fruits in their lives.
Evang. Paul Ebede, had earlier before the brief exhortation, distributed some Christian literature books to the Conference delegates.
Some notable personalities at the Conference included; Prophet Joseph Igbodo, Bishop Aghedo, Rev. Joseph Osayande JP, Evang. Paul Ebede, Evang. Dominic Ebie, Pastor (Mrs.) D. Ebie, Pastor Chuks Ayogbe, Pastor Michael Ukwuoma, Pastor Austin Ikpegbu, Pastor Benjamin Glory, Pastor Abraham Maduka, Pastor Friday Nzeh, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Michael Okorie, Pastor Ade and Brother Chuks Ossai, amongst many others.
Highpoint of the Conference was the presentation of food items and toiletries, by Prophet Joseph Igbodo, to the Ministers for entertainment.
The donated items include; several cartons of indomie noddles, cartons of Bobo fruit juice, cartons of biscuits, cartons of sprite and coca cola drinks, cartons of malt drinks, cartons of gala, rolls of chesse balls, rolls of tissue papers and packets of sweets.
Receiving the items, the house in appreciation, Prayed God to bless and prosper Prophet Joseph Igbodo, his family and Ministry abundantly in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.
