…warns Agbor Youths against cultism, crime

The Chairman of Agbor Gha-Ihun security group and Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Security Matters, Comr. Monday Kiyem, on January 3, 2021, hosted members of Ika South Security Network (ISSN), calling for a renewed effort in crime bursting in Agbor and it’s environs for the new year.

The get together had the apex security group chairman lavishly entertained his colleagues with good food and drinks.
Speaking at the event, Comr. Kiyem, commended the group members and their heads emerging from the various security groups in Agbor such as, Agbor Gha-Ihun, Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Ihu-Iyase Vigilante, Delta North Security Network and Anioma Security Network.
He enjoined them to be proactive and more passionate about the voluntary security work, adding that God will repay their effort towards building peace and development in the society.

I wish to thank each and everyone of you for your commitment to community policing work in Agbor and environs. We know that we are not being paid but we are hopeful of being encouraged by our illustrious sons and daughters. However, I urge us to remain focused and redouble our effort in ensuring that crimes are brought to its bearest minimum in our land.

I also pray that this new year brings us fulfilment and encouragement as we continue in our voluntary work. So, thank you and wishing you a prosperous 2021,” he added.
In another development, Comr. Kiyem who had time with some selected youths of Agbor kingdom, urged them to dwell peacefully amongst themselves and also desist from cult activities in the new year.
He admonished them to rededicate themselves to God amidst clarity that crime does not pay.

He particularly appreciated the Youths for ensuring a crime free yuletide celebration and also used the medium to encourage them.
