Rt.Rev.Mosignor Dennis Arimokwu has been buried. The late Catholic priest was buried on Wednesday, July 15, the Catholic Priests cemetery at Issele-Uku, Delta State after a funeral mass in his honour at St Paul’s Catholic Cathedral, Issele-Uku.
The burial ceremony was attended by Catholic Priests in Delta State and beyond, including family members and loved ones.
Rt. Rev. Mosignor was the first Ika born Catholic priest.He was ordained on December 29,1974 by His Lordship, Most Rev.Anthony Okonkwo Gbuji at the St Paul’s Cathedral, Issele-Uku. He was a revered Catholic priest owing to the various roles he played in the growth of the Catholic Church particularly in Ika Land. He passed on at the age of 79 years.
