Multiple deaths have hit the Okoh family of Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria as the male children of late Ogboni Confraternity Cult leader, Chief Sunday Okoh refused to be initiated into the cult. It’s the tradition of the Ogboni Confraternity Cult group to have male sons of late members to be initiated, unfortunately, the reverse was the case of Chief Sunday Okoh sons as they completely refused to be members of the Cult. The consequence of not joining Ogboni Confraternity Cult was said to be the sudden death calamity in the family.
Our reporters gathered that Chief Sunday Okoh was before his death December 15, 2021, a dedicated member of Ogboni Confraternity Cult, and his male children are required to be members açcording to the Constitution of the Cult. Members of the highly dreaded Cult became angry when after the burial rites of their late leader, Chief Sunday Okoh his male children completely refused to join them.
Açcording to a member of the family who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the body of late Chief Sunday Okoh was taken away by his Ogboni Confraternity Cult members as part of the burial rites on January 10, 2022. He was a wealthy man but, unknown to his children that he was a cultist. It was reported that he lost two of his children ( a male and a female) when he was alive. His young male children refused to be part of any Cult group not even Ogboni Confraternity Cult which their late father was a leader.
The family member disclosed that trouble started when death struck and killed a male child of Chief Sunday Okoh, few weeks after his fathers’death.
He noted, ” After we lost one of the male children, the third male child suddenly went mad. He may end up in death because he is going out destroying both individuals and government properties. The last child of the family, Desmond Okoh ran away from his father’s house because he was greatly afraid of death. As I talk to you, journalist this moment, we do not know Desmond Okoh whereabouts. He has been missing and we are yet to have a trace of where he is. We reported the case to the police, unfortunately, nothing was done to find him as it was revealed that some of the police officers in Agbor are cultists.”
He prayed that the life of Desmond Okoh should be secured anywhere he is in the world as they cannot afford to loose him to death. He advised Desmond Okoh to remain calm wherever he is , as the Ogboni Confraternity Cult members are still threatening to kill him any time they set their eyes on him.
