Prophet Lucky Egwulemu has given a prophecy revealing the cause of the recent strange deaths at Ute-Okpu, in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Prophet Egwulemu while speaking with newsmen during the week at Agbor revealed that the gods of Ute-Okpu are angry because they have been abandoned, declaring that the only solution to the problem of the deaths currently facing the community is that the traditional ruler and his Chiefs should locate areas where the gods are located in the community and appease them.
In the words of Prophet Egwulemu, ” I am here to tell the people of Ute-Okpu the prophecy God gave to them through me. In the prophecy, I was directed to tell the people of Ute-Okpu to go and appease their gods that they have abandoned for many years. The gods of Ute-Okpu are very angry that the people of the community have abandoned them, hence, they are fighting back. The signs of the fight is the current deaths of young people in the community.If the gods are not appeased now more deaths and mental cases will be recorded in the community.
“The Ute-Okpu deaths case is a very serious one with spiritual undertone. However, the only solution is for the traditional ruler of Ute-Okpu and his Chiefs to set out a day to appease the gods.The shrines should be cleared, painted and appeased. Food and drinks should be cooked and shared during the ceremony. Dancers should also dance round the shrines. In all, the appeasement ceremonies should be followed with fervent prayer to the Almighty God for the forgiveness of their sins.
