NMA’S CORNER!
NO TRESPASSING
We were walking towards my street.
Let’s say 5 poles to my house.
My friends Asiodu, Henceforth and I were going to part at the next junction and we saw this house we never noticed its existence before.
It was already over grown with weeds and a sign post with an inscription:
NO TRESPASSING.
We were curious and decided to satisfy our curiosity. We passed through the gate.
“WHAT WAS INSIDE” we shared our thoughts.
We got inside. And you can’t believe what we saw.
It was just like the golden statue I saw in a movie.
“I just off”.
It was just yesterday I watched it.
Henceforth was like “abeg am scared let’s go” while Asiodu said “what is this self” pointing at the statue.
Different thoughts ran through my mind.
I was speechless.
It did not stop there.
I took one more step and all hell broke loose.
Thousands of lizards jumped on me!
“Baroka is referred to as the lion while Sidi the jewel”
That was the voice of my English teacher that woke me up from this terrible dream.
That was the last statement before the bell rang.
School was over.
I slept throughout the English class.
So unfortunate.
On my way home, I saw a similar building with a similar inscription:
“NO TRESPASSING”
I hope am not still sleeping?
