The Dr Chukwuma Nwaonicha led members of Ika South PDP Reconciliation Committee have paid visit to the Chairman of the party, Mr. Jude Onya in his house in Agbor. The visit which was made last Friday, November 27 had in attendance the Chairman of the Committee, Dr Chukwuma Nwaonicha,Dr Amechi Ehimatie, Comr. Jonathan Ojobu, Pastor Philip Urubusi, Barr Augustine Bienose, Chief Philip Agbeyeke, Hon Williams Omoregie and Mr. Fred Alele.
Speaking on behalf of the Committee, Dr Chukwuma Nwaonicha expressed appreciation to the Almighty God for the spirit of divine protection, good health and the favour of speedy recovery granted to the Party Chairman,Jude Onya during the period he had health challenge.
He stated that the absence of Onya from duty during the period of his medical sojourn posed trying times for all the leaders and entire members of Ika South PDP.
He concluded that the return of the party helmsman to duty in sound health made the members of the Reconciliation Committee to embark on this visit to congratulate the Party Leader.
He prayed that the Almighty God who made the speedy recovery to be possible will continue to sustain Onya and place him on a balanced state of health to enable him discharge his functions as LGA Chairman of PDP in Ika South, not only to the admiration of his teeming members, but also to achieve overall success for the Party in all future election.
Responding, Mr. Jude Onya thanked Dr Chukwuma Nwaonicha and members of his committee for the concern they have exhibited through the visit.
He hinted that the situation was really very challenging but that nothing is truly impossible or too difficult for God to handle.
He used the opportunity to thank the Committee and all other Party leaders and stakeholders for their exhibited patience, co-operation and understanding with the Party while he was away for the medical attention.
He assured them that now that he is back to duty; all Party activities shall resume in earnest, stating that all members of the Committee should continue to support the Party and Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the Governor of Delta State.
