Sunday, October 4, 2020, was a joyous day of double celebration for the family of Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Patrick Gwam Ojougboh, the Personal Assistant to Prophet Joseph Igbodo, The General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International; as they appeared before the Altar of God to thank Him for His numerous blessings upon the family and for the formal dedication of their beautiful daughter, Godsgift Ekachukwu Bethel, to God.
The special thanksgiving and baby dedication service which took place at the Church headquarters of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, located at Number 108, Charles Street, Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State; was to appreciate God for His Grace, benevolence and the safe delivery He granted his wife Pastor (Mrs.) Anita Ojougboh during child birth.
In his sermon, the General Overseer of the church, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who spoke on the message he titled, “Because Of The Anointing”, took his Bible reading from the books of Job 14:1, Isaiah 10:27, Isaiah 61:1, Psalms 105:15, Mark 16:17, Psalms 45:7, Isaiah 60:11-14, Matthew 10:8 and First John 5:1-5.
Admonishing the congregation, he stated that the anointing of God breaks every yoke which bedevils a man, explaining that Yoke are the challenges that never allows a person to achieve his desires in life; saying that Yoke is a poison that usually disgrace the beauty of a man and a woman. Continuing, he stated that anointing is the power of God that destroys all the problems that besiege a man; disclosing that before Jesus Christ came to earth, God gave Him the anointing to use in breaking every satanic yoke disturbing mankind.
Speaking further, the Elect of God, who is also the Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home and the Proprietor of St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor; emphasized that when a man has the anointing he enjoys the favour of God and can also use the anointing of God upon his life to cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ. He warned them to desist from sin because the anointing of God forbids sin; and charged them to repent from their evil ways and be committed fully to God in order to have the anointing of God upon their lives.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the anointing and formal dedication of Baby Godsgift Ekachukwu Bethel by Prophet Joseph Igbodo and the special thanksgiving by Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Patrick Gwam Ojougboh and their children, who were accompanied by family members, well wishers and the church members who in praise and worship danced in great jubilation on their toes to the beautiful song rendition by the church choir as they appeared before the Altar of God to thank Him for His grace, favour and the wonderful gift of Baby Bethel, to his family.
Overwhelmed with joy and excitement, Pastor Gwam Ojougboh, shared his testimonies before the congregation; of how God saved him from the enclave of Satan and restored him to a place of honour in the vineyard of the Lord; in his words, “I came to really thank God for all that He has been doing in my life and family because I know where I am coming from, I know what God is doing in my life and for my wife putting to bed successfully without any problem is the marvellous work of God; indeed God is doing more than I expected that is why I decided to thank him for everything.
Continuing, he appreciated God for giving him the revelation that brought him in contact with the General in the Lord’s Vineyard Prophet Joseph Igbodo, whom he described as a highly anointed Prophet that is truly called by God. According to him, “Our Father Prophet Joseph Igbodo, is a man of faith and his faith has greatly inspired me, he is a man that lives by faith daily, his life has affected me 100% spiritually, physically, materially and otherwise; he is a loving, caring and wonderful father that wants the best for his children”.
Speaking further, the Minister of God, also appreciated the wife of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor (Mrs). Igbodo . N., whom he stated has been a source of encouragement, an understanding woman of God who wants the best for the Ministers and flocks that are under their Spiritual Father. He further appreciated his beloved wife Pastor (Mrs.) Anita Ojougboh, whom he described as his heart and queen, for accepting to marry him and the vision which God has given to him; emphasizing that her coming to his life is one of the best things God has done to him.
In the same vein, he thanked his mother for all her Prayers advocating on his behalf for God to bring him into His folds and today her Prayers have been answered by God.
Continuing, the Personal Assistant to the outspoken Prophet of God, thanked and appreciated the leadership of the various departments of the church and the entire congregation for their acceptance, love and assistance to him and his family in the Lord’s Vineyard. He Prayed God to grant his Spiritual Father and the entire members of the commission, long life to enjoy the fullness of God mercy and to be in good health to reap the work of the labours of their hands; and that the anointing of God upon their lives will never run dry in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.
Invited guests and members of the church were treated to a wonderful refreshment by the celebrants, Pastor and Pastor (Mrs.) Patrick Gwam Ojougboh and family after the dedication and thanksgiving service.
