The Executive Chairman, Ika North East Local Government Council,Hon(Barr) Victor Ebonka, has described the sudden death of the executive assistant to the Delta State Governor, on Community Development/Youth Mobilization, Mr. Christian Okpambor as a big loss to Ika nation and humanity in general.
The Council Chairman made this assertion when he visited the home of the late politician to condole with his immediate family and friends.
In his words, “Christian Okpambor (Oloye) was a philanthropist, party chieftain, an astute strategist, seasoned and grassroots politician, whose impact cuts across all nooks and crannies of Ika Nation and beyond.
“We have indeed lost a colleague, friend and brother, who will be missed and remembered by the lives he touched”.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Ika North East LGA, I mourn the King of boys, Oloye, Christian Okpambor, also known as, Okapms Georgia. We pray God to give his immediate family and his friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Amen”.
