Oil rich Isoko Community of Delta State, Nigeria has been thrown into total confusion and grief over the gun attack on one of her illustrious sons, Mr Osmond Obiakela, a tragic incident that later led to his death.
Late Mr Osmond Obiakela until his death was a chief security officer at Isoko Community, charged with the responsibility of the protection of petroleum pipelines in the community.
According to eye witnesses, late Mr Osmond Obiakela was allegedly shot at a closed range while trying to abduct a youth, Onyenwezu Destiny who was reported to be a gay .It was gathered that late Mr Osmond Obiakela was mandated by his community to interrogate Onyenwezu Destiny who was caught having a sexual intercourse with a fellow man, a practice which is highly forbidden in Africa and a punishable offence under the Nigerian law. Unfortunately, Mr Osmond Obiakela after the interrogation, abducted Onyenwezu Destiny.
Açcording to an eye witness, Onyenwezu Destiny freed himself from the hook of his abductor after he targeted Mr Osmond Obiakela and noticed that he was sleeping, he took his gun and allegedly shot at him at a closed range. The eye witness further revealed that Onyenwezu Destiny disappeared immediately after the attack on Mr Osmond Obiakela. He said he would not blame Onyenwezu Destiny for the action he took against Mr Osmond Obiakela because he(Onyenwezu Destiny) would have been killed for indulging himself in gay practice.
Onyenwezu Destiny hails from Ika land, in Delta State. He speaks fluent English Language. He has been on the run since the incident occurred in February, 2016. At the time of this publication in May, Onyenwezu Destiny was still not captured.

Meanwhile, the Isoko Police Division told our reporter that further investigations showed that Onyenwezu Destiny was also declared wanted by his Ika people a few weeks ago because of his gay activities. Our reporter also reliably gathered that Onyenwezu Destiny has been on the run since he was caught having a sexual intercourse with a fellow man in Ika Land. The people of Ika Land açcording to a leader in the area, Mr Eseka Okorie has placed a ransom of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (#200,,000) on anyone who will give vital information that will lead to the arrest and prosecution of Onyenwezu Destiny.
It was also gathered that the mother of the embattled Onyenwezu Destiny was attacked by unknown armed men who came asking for the whereabouts of her son ( Onyenwezu Destiny). The attack unfortunately led to her death.
However, attempts to reach Onyenwezu Destiny was not successful as journalists were reliably informed that he had run away from Nigeria for the safety of his life.
