It was indeed a moment of joy, fun and love as the leaders and members of Otu Ka Nma, a political support group came out in their numbers to celebrate with their leader, mentor and benefactor, Hon (Engr.) Doris Uboh as she marked her birthday on Tuesday June 16, 2020 at Agbor, headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The epoch event which took place at the palatial home of the celebrant at Agbor had in attendance members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ika South and Ika North East Local Government Areas.
The former House of Representatives member and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2019 senatorial election in Delta North, Hon Engr. Doris Uboh was described as an Amazon, a political icon, industrious, virtuous and kind mother who has impacted positively on many lives.
Personal Assistant to Hon (Engr.) Uboh, Mr. Precious Odudu, in his remark said, “We are here to celebrate our dear leader, mentor and mother, Hon (Engr.) Doris Uboh on her birthday which comes up on June 16 every year. She is a thorough bred politician who God is preparing for the next level. She is a philanthropist with a good heart. She is a result oriented and focused political leader whom we are very proud of. We are very happy to have her as our leader because she means so much to us…On this great occasion of her birthday; we wish her many happy returns. May the Almighty God grant her all her heart desires. Amen.”
He used the medium to call on members of Otu Ka Nma to remain focused and committed in their support for Hon (Engr.) Doris Uboh, noting that Uboh is a good politician that has the interest of her people at heart. He concluded by saying that a continuous support for Uboh is support for peace, growth and development.
Chief Idah Ojukpozi, Fortunate Agholor, Ewere Agholor, Dr Sunny O.Enu, Stanley Agholor,Aghedo Johnson, Mrs. Annah Egboh, Mrs. Virginia Mosieri and Mrs. Ochei, in their separate remarks poured encomiums on Doris Uboh, describing her as a focused, courageous and resourceful political leader whose achievements for her people speak volume. They said that they are happy to build their political tent with Uboh and they will not relent in their support for her. While pledging their unflinching support for Uboh, they wished her well on her new age even as they prayed that the good Lord will keep blessing and protecting her in all she does in life.
High points of the event were cutting of the birthday cake, taking of group photographs and singing of birthday songs for the celebrant.
