People hug as a form of greeting loved ones or to one not seen for some time. Even children hug their parents, most especially when their mothers return from the market and also when their fathers are back from work.
However, it becomes something else when hug goes beyond proportion- particularly when it is between a man and a married woman; either the man or the married woman could be termed to be tapping ‘current’. You know what I mean… And this was exactly what happened recently at a shopping mall in Asaba.
The couple had gone to the shopping mall to shop. As the cashier was computing the items bought, the woman sighted her former intimate friend while in the university. She left her husband and ran to the young man and hugs him.
The action she displayed as she hugs the young man was funny. She held so tight to the young man closed to five minutes- swinging and jerking her waist region.
The husband watched helplessly in disbelief. In confusion and rage, he collected the receipt from the cashier and drove off – leaving the wife who was still lost in fool’s paradise. Reaching his house, he hurried out of his car and put down a note for his wife ordering her to pack out of his house.
Presently, the wife is now at her parents place in Kwale. My source further stated that both family- that of the husband and of the wife are now making frantic efforts to resolve the issue.
