As the country, Nigeria, marks her 60th birthday anniversary, a community of progressive youths under the auspices of Idumu-Ogala kinsmen in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, celebrated the day with sports carnival to mark the day in style.
The event which created lots of joy and excitement for the youths featured four teams which slogged it out in the crucial football matches.

The teams includes, Pastor Aigui Kevin team led by Alika Nduka,
Mr Fabian Egun team
led Eboma John,
Chief Victor Ikpon team led by kleopas uwuseba and Chief Sunday ibude team led by John brown.
Speaking at the end of the event, Pastor Kelvin Aigui, commended the initiative of the youths uniting in sports to mark the country’s 60th anniversary.
He pointed out that the sporting exercise held amidst funfair, was a movement which according to him signifies peace and love, saying “that was all it requires to build a stronger and better Nigeria.”
“I thank God for the privilege of today’s event and would also appreciate all participants for making the carnival worth a while.

“Irrespective of all that have happened to the country, we still have to thank God on a singular fact that we are alive and not divided. We need each other and would advice the northern brothers to be at peace as we need each other to build a better Nigeria.
He congratulated all the teams, affirming that the game was victory for all.
At the end of the football tournament, Pastor Kelvin’ team emerged the winner while Chief Sunday Ibude team came second.
