An affirmative civil society group in Agbor with members cutting across Ika Federal Constituency, United Rainbow Peace Movement, (URPM) has stated that the immediate past Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Collins Bello, is performing well being a stakeholder of the People’s Democratic Party.
This was contained in a communique by the group headed by the Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Security Matters, Land/ Waterways, Comr. Jinadu Imam,
Congratulating Hon. Bello on his emerges as Delta State PDP Financial Secretary.
They described Bello as a Colossus and an astute politician whose performance at the local level as Ika South PDP Chairman was unprecedented, particularly unifying the party faithful.
They said, “We are proud of Hon. Collins Bello. First, his appointment as Chairman, Delta State Ministry of Arts & Culture was indeed a welcome development. However, he now emerging as the PDP State Financial Secretary was not a surprise to us being the fact that Bello is well informed, organized and has the charisma cum capacity to function in any task effectively.”
Going forward, the group said Bello’s election into the PDP state executive was a call for more service having contributed immensely to the growth of the party, and in the same vein expressed optimism that Bello will not disappoint with his new assignment.
“Sir, we wish to congratulate you on these achievements as PDP State Financial Secretary. This new office has taken you a step forward to further prove your quality as a political icon, even as we are confident that you will perform better than you have done. Once again, we the entire members of URPM congratulate you and wish you the very best while discharging your duties,” they added.
